အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံက ဆယ်ကျော်သက် Gukesh Dommaraju ဟာ အသက်အငယ်ဆုံး ကမ္ဘာ့စစ်တုရင် ချန်ပီယံ ဖြစ်သွားပါပြီ။ ၁၈ နှစ်အရွယ် Gukesh Dommaraju ဟာ သူ့ထက် ၁၄ နှစ်ကြီးတဲ့ တရုတ် နိုင်ငံက အသက် ၃၂ နှစ်အရွယ် လက်ရှိ ကမ္ဘာ့စစ်တုရင် ချန်ပီယံ Ding Liren ကို ၁၄ ပွဲကစားပြီး ကမ္ဘာ့စစ်တုရင် ချန်ပီယံဘွဲ့ကို ဆွတ်ခူးသွားတာပါ။
စင်ကာပူနိုင်ငံမှာ ကြာသပတေးနေ့ကကျင်းပခဲ့တဲ့ ၂၀၂၄ ကမ္ဘာ့စစ်တုရင်ပြိုင်ပွဲမှာ အခုလို အသက် အငယ်ဆုံး စစ်တုရင်ချန်ပီယံဖြစ်သွားပြီလို့သေချာချိန်မှာ Gukesh ဟာ မျက်ရည်ကျတဲ့အထိ ဝမ်းသာခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ နှစ်ပိုင်းတွေမှာ စိတ်ကျရောဂါခံစားခဲ့ရတဲ့ သူ့ပြိုင်ဘက် ချန်ပီယံဟောင်း Ding Liren ကိုလည်း သူကသာ အခက်အခဲတွေကို ကျော်လွှားခဲ့တဲ့ ချန်ပီယံအစစ်အမှန်ပါလို့ Gukesh ချီးကျူးပြောခဲ့ပါတယ်။
၁၉၈၅ ခုနှစ်က အသက် ၂၂ နှစ်မှာ အသက်အငယ်ဆုံး စစ်တုရင် ချန်ပီယံဖြစ်ခဲ့တဲ့ ရုရှားက Garry Kasparov ရဲ့စံချိန်ကို Gukesh ကချိုးလိုက်တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
နောက်ဆုံးပွဲမှာ အမဲရောင်ဘက်က ကစားတဲ့ Gukesh ဟာ Ding ကို အချိန်ကန့်သတ်မှု ဖိအားကြားမှာပဲ အမှတ် ၇.၅ နဲ့ နိုင်သွားခဲ့တာပါ။ သူတို့ ၂ ယောက် ကစားခဲ့တဲ့ ၁၄ ပွဲဟာ တကွက်ကို အနည်းဆုံး ၁ နာရီအထိ အချိန်ယူရွှေ့နိုင်တဲ့ Classical နည်းနဲ့ ကစားခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ချန်ပီယံဆုအတွက် အမေရိကန် ဒေါ်လာ ၂.၅ သန်း ရရှိမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Indian teenager Gukesh Dommaraju has become the youngest world chess champion. 18-year-old Gukesh Dommaraju won the world chess title after playing 14 games against the current world champion, 32-year-old Ding Liren of China, who is 14 years his senior.
Gukesh was so happy to be crowned the youngest chess champion at the 2024 World Chess Championship in Singapore on Thursday that he was almost in tears. He also praised his former rival Ding Liren, who has been battling depression for the past two years, saying he is a true champion who has overcome adversity.
Gukesh broke the record set by Russian Garry Kasparov, who became the youngest chess champion in 1985 at the age of 22.
In the final match, Gukesh, playing black, defeated Ding by 7.5 points under time pressure. The 14 games they played were played in the Classical style, which takes at least an hour to move a piece. The championship will bring home $2.5 million.
